When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Phew! What with a lack of inspiration, a lack of sleep, and a lack of reliable internet at home, I haven't been posting much. This is an emote based on my favourite part of the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail; those of you who know the movie will know the chant that goes with the monks' parading around -- "Pie Jesu domine, dona eis requiem." Which means, roughly translated, sweet Lord Jesus, grant us rest. (It's usually part of the Requiem, the Latin mass for the dead.)
Simple but sweet (I hope) and fitting for me right now because my thesis is due in eighteen days and requiem would be high on my list of priorities! |
